Counselling for Adults
Counselling support can be provided face to face in my comfortable private practice in Rayleigh, Essex, via telephone, or via a virtual platform. Initial assessments are 60 minutes and counselling sessions are 50 minutes - this includes time to book another session. Therapy usually begins with an initial assessment; which involves gathering some background information about you, then we usually agree on a regular day and time to meet.
Counselling for Children & Young People
Where counselling is for a child or young person it may be appropriate for the parent or carer to come to the initial assessment so that relevant information can be gathered, but also to help the child or young person feel more at ease in the counselling process.
Whilst working with children, I work very creatively. We may play games, draw pictures, build or create things. It allows children and young people an opportunity to express themselves in ways that perhaps they struggle with.
I also offer parent/carer and child/young person counselling in my Rayleigh practice. This can be helpful for families where there are difficulties or conflicts that are not able to be resolved at home. As your counsellor, I will work with you to help you identify these difficulties, then I will facilitate a collaborative process to help you all find solutions.
To allow me to work with Children & Young People, I hold an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check.
I also offer parent/carer and child/young person counselling in my Rayleigh practice. This can be helpful for families where there are difficulties or conflicts that are not able to be resolved at home. As your counsellor, I will work with you to help you identify these difficulties, then I will facilitate a collaborative process to help you all find solutions.
I also hold a qualification in treating and supporting individuals with Eating Disorders.
Practice Location
My counselling practice is set in the heart of Rayleigh, Essex and it is within easy reach of Hockley, Rochford, Hullbridge, Westcliff-On-Sea, Southend-On-Sea, and Leigh-On-Sea to name a few. It is also within reach of several train stations and bus routes.
